The Spiritual Path to Social Change
To truly change the world, we must also learn to change ourselves, and vice versa.
The Ananda Marga yogic tradition offers a profound framework in which inner and outer transformation are woven together, each strengthening and reinforcing the other. At this intersection lies a call to action: yoga is not separate from the effort to create a more sustainable, just, and spiritually inspired society. Rather, both become expressions of the same path.
Working for the welfare of the world deepens our spiritual practice, while yogic practices give us the strength, clarity, and steadiness to work for the welfare of the world. Each supports the other as a path of awakening to who we truly are.
As our inner and outer vision expands, we begin to see ourselves in the world, and the world within ourselves. Self-realisation is not an escape from life, but an expansion of identity - awakening to our Greater Self through ever-deepening identification with the life of the universe as a whole, and with all its countless expressions.

Neohumanism
Neohumanism asks a radical question: what if the self identity is not fixed? What if, through practice and commitment, our sense of who we are can expand beyond tribe, beyond nation, beyond species- to embrace all life, animate and inanimate, as expressions of one living whole? This expansion of identity is both the inner work and the outer work and Neohumanism is the name given to this corepsonding expansion of our love and compasion to all creation.
